What Territoire Connecté covers
Territoire Connecté is a blog about the digital transformation of local government. The subject is usually covered either in purely technical terms or in purely institutional ones. The aim here is to hold both ends: explaining how the tools work, and which concrete decisions they actually support for a municipality, an inter-municipal body or a county.
Four themes structure the publications:
- Smart city: what the notion of a smart territory covers, its limits and its real uses
- Data and AI: data platforms, interoperability, open standards, sovereignty
- Energy transition: managing public buildings, street lighting, consumption monitoring
- Citizen services: citizen relations, online procedures, management of public space
Editorial line
Articles favour verifiable facts, documented standards and published field feedback. Subjects are treated in a neutral, impersonal tone, without promoting any particular solution. When a tool, a standard or a funding scheme is mentioned, it is because it clarifies the point, not because it is being sold.
